On 4th October 2024, BVRIT Hyderabad’s Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is organizing a special session on Ergonomics and Yoga. This event, led by Dr. P. Nagaraju, aims to create awareness among 2nd-year EEE students on the importance of the 3Bs—Body, Brain, and Behavior.
The session, which begins at 3:00 pm, will focus on improving students’ overall well-being by teaching them how to synchronize their body, mind, and soul to enhance their daily lives.
Key Outcomes of the Session:
- Understanding Human Biomechanics: Learn about how the body moves and how it can be aligned for better comfort and efficiency.
- Breathing Practices: Explore techniques to improve respiratory health and mental clarity.
- Posture Management: Gain insights into maintaining proper posture, particularly in professional environments, to prevent strain and injury.
- Anger Management: Techniques to handle emotions effectively and improve mental balance.
- Hormonal Awareness: Understand how to manage “happy” and “unhappy” hormones for a more balanced mood and better mental health.
This unique combination of ergonomics and yoga aims to equip students with practical knowledge for their well-being, both in their personal and professional lives.
